Wow it looked like something to watch (as opposed to everything else) but I don't get much tv, but maybe I can watch the dvd's someday, it might be hard for me to figure out who everyone is in the last season.

9. I recently just watched the first four seasons

I like when I don't catch them the first time, and get into them when a whole bunch of seasons are available all at once.

It's a FANTASTIC show! It even caused me to start recording the old "Homicide: Life on the Streets" series -- it's funny to see the telegraphing, like how the judge on The Wire was one of the cops on the old show, that sort of thing.

However, it looks like the final season might not be as interesting, to me. I liked the episodes that focus on the kids, and especially the Omar scenes! I just rewatched several of the episodes from season 4 to follow "the ring" story -- the first time around, it wasn't as clear to me what happened, but now I see it as a nod to the LOTR.

So many of my favorite characters are gone though :(

I find myself speaking in Bal-more slang a bit more than maybe I should, heh... ("Yo! Yo! You little hoppers!") Oh... I love Carver, and Mr. Presbo (he finally found his stride as a teacher didn't he!) and Bunk, and Freamon... oh what a great show!!
