I wish my brain worked a little quicker sometimes

My dad and sisters and I celebrated Christmas last weekend. About a couple of weeks before, dad told me that since my sisters didn't have a whole lot of money this year they were just going to give each other cookies and cards and call it good. Well, I had already bought them gifts and told my dad so.

Well, the day of our celebration rolls around and I get gifts from my sisters. Evidently, dad had told them that I had bought them gifts. I wish I would have thought to tell him sooner that cookies were okay with me. I didn't mean to make my sisters go out and spend money when they really couldn't afford to.

One of my gifts this year was a gift certificate to Red Lobster. Maybe a dinner on me will help my sisters out a little. What do you think?
