So I'm looking for a place to move...
...I found some places here in SA that bill themselves as 'Apartment Homes'. I'm thinking...'Apartment Homes? Isn't that redundant?' :wtf: Have you heard of this thing? Or is it a product of this area?

1. I hear it in Oregon. I doubt it is a South America thing.
I don't see the problem with calling an apartment a "home".

SA stands for San Antonio. I don't have a problem calling an apartment a home either. I find 'Apartment homes' to be as redundant as saying 'I'm going to drink some wet water.'

It distinguishes them from home homes

16. It 's becoming common realtorspeak.
Cuz apartments are just apartments, but a home is so much better. It's in line with "town home" for townhouse. Believe it or not, some places advertise "condo homes" too.

The important thing is that once you find an apartment, you can call it anything you please. :hi:
