“I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, um,
Aside from Falwell finally dying this HAD TO BE the highlight of 2007 IMHO

“I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, um, some people out there in our nation don’t have maps and, uh, I believe that our, uh, education like such as, uh, South Africa and, uh, the Iraq and everywhere like such as, and I believe that they should, uh, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., uh, should help South Africa and should help Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future.”

22. I think we have uncovered a major male/female difference in attitude
I could never be attracted to a MAN who was that stupid, not even if he was the hunkiest man in the world.

6. 2008 campaign pledge: MAPS FOR EVERYONE!
Edited on Mon Dec-31-07 04:07 PM by Downtown Hound
It will solve all of our uh, like problems and stuff, and then we can build a like, better future and stuff for all of us. You know, that'd be like totally awesome!

I actually saw this when it happened. Not that I watch the miss teen USA awards or anything, I was housesitting and I was bored and flipping through channels, okay? For reals. Well fine, fuck you if you don't believe me. I knew that she had bombed the question and bombed it big time, but I didn't realize then that she would become an international sensation. It's funny, this girl is probably more famous now than she would have been if she'd won. Who really remembers who Miss Teen USA was? But this girl will go down in story and legend for many years to come.

8. A moment in time
you must have had your jaw open watching this live

You know who I feel sorry for?

Well Alberto Gonzales for one-you just know that he STILL can't remember where he parked his car. Poor guy can't remember anything. He is still walking around DC hitting the trunk button on his key remote just PRAYING that he sees a trunk pop open.

I really feel sorry for Miss Teen SC runner-up, all those years of pageants and dieting and endless roadtrips with her mother and now all of it gone GONE in a poof. She can't put that on a resume becasue all anyone will think/say is "You lost to HER!?!?!"

13. You know, if this girl was smart
(yes, I actually used those words in a sentence, and yes, I am talking about her) she could work this whole incident like no tomorrow and make a ton of money doing it. She just found a typecast role for herself playing a bimbo in movies, tv shows, and whatever else you can come up with. It would be an added joke for people that whenever they saw her onscreen, they could say, "Oh yeah, there's that idiot from the Miss Teen USA awards. Oh, that's so funny that they got her to do that!"

She is literally sitting on a powderkeg of potential stardom, but I doubt she has the foresight to realize it. Say what you will about Paris Hilton, she at least has the brains to know how to work her image a a spoiled heiress to maximum gain.

18. Stand in line to see a Jessica Simpson movie?
Jessica Simpson 's latest flick 'Blonde Ambition' failed to impress the native audience, and made less than 400 dollars at the opening.

The film, also starring Luke Wilson, failed to leave an impact on the audience when it opened in eight Texas theatres on 21 December.

Since both Simpson and Wilson are Texas natives, the executives were hoping that the film would receive a great response from the audiences there, reports Contactmusic.

The website also reports that the film was saved by the straight-to-DVD tag from the film bosses at Nu Image and Millennium Films, who decided to give it a limited Christmas run.

The film is expected to release on DVD in January next year.

17. Is there a sex scene?
because that would be like totally cool! U.S. Americans would rush out to see it! I believe that U.S. Americans would do so because, like children in Africa, who don't have maps, it would um, make the world a better place!
