1. It won't be possible for me
Seen and done too many bad things. Now I can just try to be as good to people as I can and hope that there is no hell.

But I think that many people have never really lost their innocence. I don't think that most people have ever known crime or violence. They've never broken the glass separating the subconscious mind and the conscious mind and set loose all of the demons of our collective psyche. They are still innocent in my view.

6. I was 15 when that song came out.
Used to hear it every night after volleyball practice, and it was so peaceful and calming.....anyhoo, just a very pleasant memory for me.

7. Oh OK
that makes sense then. And it makes you younger than me ... I was 19 when the song came out.

8. We know too much. Have been through too much exploitation. No way can
we ever go back to such innocence.

14. Just about anything I could talk about would probably get this thread locked.
And possibly either get me tombstoned or propositioned, depending on how interesting the mods found my stories. :P

15. this song by the Traveling Wilburys comes to mind often when I think....
Edited on Mon Dec-31-07 05:48 PM by MnFats
...of being bashed from pillar to post...
...."brought it on myself,..."

""HANDLE ME WITH CARE"...

Been beat up and battered 'round
Been sent up, and I've been shot down
You're the best thing that I've ever found
Handle me with care

Reputations changeable
Situations tolerable
Baby, you're adorable
Handle me with care

I'm so tired of being lonely
I still have some love to give
Won't you show me that you really care

Everybody's got somebody to lean on
Put your body next to mine, and dream on

I've been fobbed off, and I've been fooled
I've been robbed and ridiculed
In day care centers and night schools
Handle me with care

Been stuck in airports, terrorized
Sent to meetings, hypnotized
Overexposed, commercialized
Hand me with care

I'm so tired of being lonely
I still have some love to give
Won't you show me that you really care

Everybody's got somebody to lean on
Put your body next to mine, and dream on

I've been uptight and made a mess
But I'll clean it up myself, I guess
Oh, the sweet smell of success
Handle me with care"
