He visited my daughter when she was hospitalized with a very serious illness. It just so happened his father used to work at the hospital there and Brandon invited the kids to a special premier of his Superman movie, talking to the kids, signing autographs, and giving them encouragement about their lives in general. When my daughter was home we went to the movie by ourselves. Chills were up and down my spine as I watched.

Hey, in my mind NO ONE is gonna replace George Reeves as Superman. But my hat's off to Brandon Routh, big time.
