anyone know of a site where you can look up someone

I know his first name (or at least what people called him!), town he lived in at the time, and the company he worked for at the time. However, the company won't give out info like that unless I am some kind of legal person or whatever. (he doesn't work there anymore, so going there to find him is not an option) We used to work there at the same time.

Yes, there actually is someone who can help me, but I can't get in touch with THAT person either. I will more likely see him before I see the actual person I'm looking for, but it's all just so frustrating. I wish these sites would just let me look by first name.
