12. Once, when my son was about 7 years old

he and I were having dinner at a chinese restaurant. Sitting across from each other, eating our dinner he suddenly started to choke. No sound, no coughing nothing. I knew he was in trouble and because of the crowded situation in the restaurant I couldn't get to him. We were at a small round table in the middle of the restaurant and it was pretty busy. Anyway, to make a long story short I reached over the table and punched him hard with an upward thrust to the midriff he spewed his dinner all over the place and resumed breathing! The restaurant manager was ready to kick us out until he found out what had happened. He quickly had someone clean up the table and declined our payment for the food. We left right away so I could have my son checked out by a Dr, he was fine just a tad sore.
