When is the Alastair Sim "Christmas Carol" going to be on? Its the best one,
IMO but I can't see it being shown on tv in the next few days. Thanks!

The one fom 1936 has been shown - a few weeks ago and earlier this evening on TCM.

3. Alastair Sim is the definitive Scrooge for me
He was a great stage actor and I think his performance as Scrooge is one of the greatest performances in the history of film.

5. Yes, I like that version best too.
Sim is excellent, but the music and the black-and-white photography also play a large part in setting the mood.

I was flipping through channels whilst lounging in the guest bedroom at my mom's house and just had to watch it!
