blanket #1 - done!

I did take a picture of it, but I have just the single-use camera... so I can't share what it looks like w/ you all until I have the camera developed and a CD made.



I think it's pretty. It doesn't look like the picture in the pattern book, but, pretty nonetheless.

I had to alter the way I joined the panels together, as it was taking me 3+ hours to join along one side seam. I never would have finished.

I think what I did made the blanket pucker a little, but I'm okay w/ that. I think it's pretty anyway.

my wrist is pretty upset w/ me, but it gets the night off.

I'll work on the other one tomorrow afternoon, all day Wednesday, and Thursday until it's finished.

I may just make it.

2. it's one of those Mile-a-minute afghans where you construct the panels

and then stitch the panels together.

I am making my mom a four-patch quilt with alternating blocks, and I'm wondering if I shouldn't bust some stitch&flip stars or something into a few of the alternate blocks to add some jazz.

What do you think? :shrug:
