Cats and wrapping presents do not mix well in my house....
Seriously how does anyone with cats wrap presents without having a kitty "helper" or two?...I wrapped really really quickly because my little feline assistants wanted to do the following..bat around the bows, pre-treat the clothes I got for people as gifts by adding kitty hair (lying on them), playing in the bags, swatting, rubbing or trying to chew the edges of gifts...getting into gift bags and knocking them over...ect...
I am afraid my wrapping jobs are even worse than usual due to the distraction of my furry assistants...
How do others deal with their feline helpers?

2. Two ways...
1. Lock yourself in the room in which you'll be giftwrapping. If that's not feasible:

2. Tear off a big sheet of wrapping paper and lay it on the floor. Cats cannot resist laying on paper. Just be sure to act like you really need that sheet and don't want it messed with. Cats can sense deception :)

...but Axl isn't as bad as he used to be in this regard.

Cats aren't that good at laying carpet, either...

7. Here's what you do...
First, you wrap the cat. With LOTS of sticky tape. You'll have plenty of time to wrap your gifts after that. :D
