Let me be the first to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year...

I'm feeling jolly tonight ( not angry in the least, although perhaps I should be ) but I think this is the time where you get together with family and friends whom you can share your life with. This idea has never been lost on me, despite my postings of kicking over baby strollers ( by crazed mothers ) in the malls....that's not me, and I try not to lose sight of what the holidays are SUPPOSED to mean. I like to think I have never lost sight of that.

Much of this also has to do with getting together with family that you have otherwise lost contact with, and this is a subject I am VERY familiar with ( believe me ). You only have one family, and despite your differences, please do make every effort to make peace with these differences....funerals are not a good way to approach this situation, as I have learned. Learn to appreciate what you have, and if you suspect there is a way to bridge a broken relationship with a sibling, do your best to do so...before it is too late..I need to stop
