Well, today's been crappy.

The Packers lost, and now I have to take the copy of Ghost In the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society I got for Christmas back to Barnes & Noble because the disc is making the dvd player on my iMac pop up with error messages saying that the disc is bad.

Although It's not been a total loss, I did get my own copy of The Dirty Dozen (awesome movie) IThe soundtrack to Spamalot is now in my collection and I'm through the first disc of Season 3 of House.

2. Yeah, well, I've sorta been looking forward to seeing Solid State Society...

Ever since I saw the Japanese language trailer on YouTube a few months ago.

Now I get it, I'm watching it, and about 2/3 of the way through,just when it's starting to get really good, I get the "Dirty or scratched disk" error on my iMac's DVD Player, (which seems weird due to the fact that the disk was brand new, and didn't have any obvious smudges or scratches on it when I took a look at it) and that, well, I would be lying if I said that I wasn't a bit browned off.

Oh, Well, no biggie, I guess. I'll just mosey on down to Green Bay on Wednesday if the weather's good and just exchange it for a new copy. If they don't have another copy in stock, (Which they might not, The Green Bay B&N's anime selection is not the best) I'm sure I can arrange to have them special order me a new copy and drop ship it to my place.

And yeah, I know in the big scheme of things my problems are not that bad. It's just, well as a fan of this series, I'd been really looking forward to this.

6. How about having your water pump break Cristmas Day?

Had that happen a few years ago.

We didn't have running water for a few days until we could get a new pump.

We had to get jugs of water from the neighbor's for washing and flushing the john.
