3. Anyone know how the WGA strike has affected Lost.
I assume some episodes are done. But is it going to be even more of a mini-season?

4. I heard that the writers and crew are being affected now.
They are living in Hawaii, which is very expensive, but not making money. They don't know how much longer they can sit it out, so future episodes may be affected.

13. Only eight of the sixteen ordered episodes were completed
http://www.latimes.com/business/la-striketvgrid-html,1,2459574.htmlstory

This seems to suggest that no more scripts were finished. How-or even if-the rest of the season will be produced is unclear at this time.

22. The first 8 episodes are complete
The writers on Lost are very much involved in the strike, so nothing will happen until that is resolved.

My wife talks to the script coordinator pretty regularly, so I might have her ask for a status report.

6. Can't wait!
Especially since there's phk-all else on these days. (I support the writers' strike, as I am a writer myself, but I DO hope they reach an agreement before I start gnawing on the furniture.)

17. I went on youtube last night and watched a partial episode
And he does seem more friendly there. However, I watched some of Hell's Kitchen, which I had never seen before. He's a madman. Crazy! My favorite line "oh, fuck meeeeee, fcuk me senseless." Ho ho, he is a lunatic.

15. sure is, as a result, I joined Netflix
I don't watch a ton of TV but sometimes a girl just wants to veg in front of something interesting. Not much of interest on TV right now, that's for sure. I'm not going to complain though, I'm strongly pro-union and so I support the writers in their strike. I really hope they're able to work it out in their favor. Takes a lot of cojones to strike these days. Hardly anyone has that courage any more so :toast: to them for their bravery even if it is inconvenient for us.

24. My wife and I have been re-watching seasons 1 through 3 and I can tell you this...
I love the show, but I still don't have a clue as to what the hell is going on. LOL

However, I do think that obviously there is a huge element of time travel.

From some things I have gleaned from the net, it appears as if the others got rid of Walt because he was a challenge to "Island" and was trouble, so off he went. I think he will be back at some point.

Something odd going on with Hurley and the numbers. latent psychic abilities?

Is John Locke the next ruler of the Island?

27. I think.. in the end it's going to be alien
I don't mean green guys with laser beams but that the source of the paranormal energy on the island is not indigenous to this planet. There are also religious overtones that can't be escaped. Last episode of S3, Ben says I'll meet you at the "temple".. which is a facility I don't think has ever been mentioned before. Anyhoo I'm re-watching S2 this weekend, too much to keep track of.. LOL

25. d00d, I'm so psyched!
:hi: :bounce: :woohoo: I've been having LOST withdrawals lately, and I'm so glad to see it back on the schedule. I just hope we aren't left hanging really badly because they only have eight episodes in the can right now. Let's hope the writer's strike ends very, very soon (and resolved in the writers' favor!)!

32. Admission of guilt...
I received a Target gift card on Tues. and was ready to pop across the street and buy Lost... only to see that the 'Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Volume II-- The War Years' was available.

Hopefully, another aunt will remember me, and I can FINALLY catch the four episodes of Lost I missed last season.

Nope. If I think a series or an artist of movie is quality stuff, I pay for it. Not saying I don't d/l stuff (I do)... but I do like to show support for the arts that really do it for me by paying for it. And Lost is one of those quality shows that I want to support in my own little, weird way. :)

34. I'm still waiting for my Season 3 DVD
It's supposedly been in transit since 11 dec. I think the posties fucked up. Five days ago a change in tracking appeared, back dated by five days.

Since Friday is DVD night, I've been speeding up my viewing of Heroes (it's gone off with me) so I can watch Lost. I guess I can go back to watching one episode a week of it a week now.
