Damned Kids These Days!
I had to mail a package this morning. It's my clothing for the trip I'm taking next week. I can't haul luggage, so I have to ship my stuff in advance.

The post office is only 2 blocks from my house, but there's no way I can carry a box and walk on crutches at the same time. Can't be done.

There's a high school across the street from me. I flagged down a couple of the kids and offered $10 to anyone who would carry the box 2 blocks for me. Several kids stopped and argued over who would help me. One kid Insisted he'd take care of it and shooed the others to school.

He carried the box for me, and then refused to take the $10.

Damned Kids these day! :P

8. I have to say
it often sucks needing people's help so often for so many things I can't do. But I really, truly appreciate the kind people who do offer help.

It's frustrating when people pretend they can't see me when I can't get a door open. But the good people more than make up for the apathetic ones.
:)

15. That was my thought too. That kid was raised well
and probably has good friends too. Good kids tend to come in groups of good kids. :)

19. People bash that highschool because it's a vocational highschool
instead of an honors high school. I've only ever had one problem with any kids from that highschool. Overall, they're good people. :)

I really think all the teen-bashing in our culture is part of the conservative effort to make everyone afraid of everyone else.

Yes. As often as I depend on them, I'm glad that strangers
are usually pretty good people. I've picked up a talent for talking to people in public and finding the good ones. :)

29. I hope that kid got some good feedback from his friends.
He wouldn't take my money, so I hope he got some other kind of emotional reward for being a good kid. He definitely deserves it. :)
