Did anyone watch The Simpsons last night?
Edited on Mon Dec-17-07 10:51 PM by TWriterD
There was a sequence with Homer going through different life stages set to music that was familiar, but that I couldn't quite place. It reminded me of a movie I've seen, but I can't put my finger on it and The Google isn't helping much. I think it was some sort of reference to "a life less lived" -- any ideas? I'm not losing sleep over it... just curious!

1. I saw it. It was a trippy one!

I didn't catch that reference you mention, but did see riffs on It's A Wonderful Life (the bridge part) and also The Game (the jump into the big cushion and entry to the party.) I'm sure there were many others, but I didn't really know them.

Good episode, though! Hilarious with the bar scenes and the Forget-Me-Shot.

:hi:

edit: Oh I remember the one you mean! I loved that part, and recognized the "technique" of the time-lapse but didn't know where I'd seen it. I'll be eager to see who knows what that was based upon.

7. Yes, wow, that is so strange.
I've never seen those types of videos, but the Simpsons sequence was oddly familiar. Maybe it was the music I've heard elsewhere. Thanks.
