Okay, why does some hair grow slower than others?

Facial hair grows pretty quick.
Ear hair grows faster.
Nose hair... yuck.
Hair on the scalp - keeps falling off.

Body hair - takes forever to it to grow even 1mm...

Hair is nasty. We should all be pure bald.

I don't really know, but that would be my guess.

Or else, testosterone levels are higher near rapidly producing hair than the areas where hair grows more slowly?

... hair grows fastest and thickest in the places you DON'T want it to, and grows extremely slow and sparse in the places you want it to grow.

Believe me, I get alopecia on the scalp occasionally, and it takes FUCKING FOREVER for the shit to grow back. But, in the same amount of time I could grow about a yard of body hair.

Why does head and facial hair keep on growing, but body hair stops at a certain length? How does it know?
