Can anyone suggest a cologne for me?
Tomorrow is the big company Xmas Party. I never wear cologne, but thought this might be an appropriate occasion. I'm getting dressed up, after all.

41. Probably a combination of factors
Fist off, she is nearsighted, and second, she is a university-educated
social worker, and must have seen me as a long-term challenge case.
After all, she even made me a turban before anyone had ever heard of
the Taliban:

I'm still a basket case, of course, but she's still working on making me
fit for society (i.e., I still hide her glasses.....)

25. Köln is actually a cool town
Sort of blasphemous for someone based out of Düsseldorf to say (they are major rivals).
The twin-spired cathedral is a tourist attraction, but that's about it. The old town
is beautifully restored, and there is a lively city life with cultural stuff galore,
great Turkish restaurants, a chocolate museum, and Roman relics from one of their
northernmost major colonies (Köln, Cologne in French, is from the Latin "colonia,"
or colony). A good friend of ours lives there, and is a senior news correspondent for
western German news radio. We visited him when he was top dog at their Moscow bureau,
and I have done guest spots (weird hearing your voice on the radio in German).

45. Noooooo!!
people, esp. those who don't wear it often, overdo cologne, imo. Who doesn't like the smell of a man who has taken a shower and shaved? Get a nice handmade soap instead of a cologne - one whose fragrance you like. Some of them will also repel mosquitos! LOL.

...or if you insist on wearing cologne, don't put it around your face. put it on your sides (but not too much) and your natural body warmth will combine for something less... whatever. if you're going to use cologne, do it at least an hour before you go anywhere so that it's not so strong.

I say all this and I'm a total hypocrite because I wear Ivoire or Red Door all the time...except not a lot of it.
