Just finished my first semester of my Freshman year in college. Ask me anything!
Took my last final exam today (for my Communications class). School's out until January 14th. My right hand is cramping from filling in endless Scantron bubbles all week, but I don't mind--I got through it!

So ask away, and I shall answer. :hi:

5. More serious answer:
If by "life experience", you're referring to "college experience", then the most important lesson I learned is to Go To Class Even When You Feel Like Crap And It's Freezing Cold Outside. I got a bad case of end-of-semester-itis and missed pretty much the entire last week of classes. I regret it now, and next time I'll know better than to do that.

More "fun" answer: Do not draw a massive and warped-looking Conch Shell before class on the portable chalkboard in an attempt to good-naturedly mock the Poli-Sci professor's lecture on "The Lord of the Flies". The Prof will Not be Amused, because inexpertly-drawn conch shells look an awful lot like female genitalia. Ooops. ;)

2. So how did you do?
Will you make Mom and Dad proud when grades come out? Congratulations.

6. Alas
I'm going to wind up with three good grades and one not-so-good grade. In my defense, it really wasn't my fault. I was unlucky enough to get a first-year professor, straight out of grad school, who had absolutely no experience in teaching. I spoke with a bunch of the other students in that class before we took our last exam (the professor wasn't in the room yet) and none of them were doing very well either. Over half the class dropped or stopped attending before the semester was 3/4's of the way over. I suspect he's going to be shocked at the class grade average and the comments on his "professor evaluation", but maybe it's for the best--he really was awful.

3. Terrific! Hope you made all A's
Gee, I wish I could go back and do college right this time.
So - which bowl game is your school going to? Can't forget the important stuff.
My school is playing Mr 'pede's school in the Gator Bowl. I think there will be alot of yelling in our house.

7. We're going to the Fiesta Bowl
After that embarrassing disaster against Pitt, the Fiesta Bowl is better than I expected, to be honest. God, that game was painful. *sigh*

8. Actually, I only got drunk *once* during the entire semester
And that one time was during Thanksgiving break, so I didn't have classes the next few days afterward. :hi: I'm such a non-partying loser, I know. ;)

9. Have you read anything for pleasure during the semester?
or were you so loaded down with school reading that reading became a chore?

I hope you did well. Congratulations on your first semester!

10. Oh gods yes.
I'm one of those people who reads for pleasure every single day--I'd probably waste away and die if someone took my books away. Books are my personal coping mechanism for life.

11. I went on an amazing comic book addiction to counter all
the boring reading and long projects. And then became addicted to books again when I got owned by the corporate world. :P

It's funny how reading habbits can change. But, yes, an addiction to reading never goes away.

14. Which comic books?
I have a bit of an obsession for Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" series, as well as James O'Barr's "The Crow". Oldies but Very goodies. :)

15. I'll help you paint, but only
if you come *here* and help me make more cookies and fudge and stuff, 'cause my family already destroyed the first humongous batch. ;)
