Why would anyone pay $576 per ticket to see the New York Knicks?
I was trying to find tickets to a game to give my dad for christmas. I did it a few years back, we went to the game together and had a great time.

So I was searching through the ticketmaster exchange and other options and I was shocked to see that they are now charging $576 for a ticket in the 2nd level at the garden. I sat courtside at a Nets game for $75 a ticket - this is horrible.....

1. I have no idea why people pay that kind of money for tickets
to almost anything.

2. You can get tickets from scalpers for $20!

After receiving the warning, Katz said, he moved to a different seat and was not ejected. He said he attends four or five Knicks games each season and prefers the Los Angeles Lakers. He said he bought his ticket for $20 outside the Garden from a scalper.

“The scalpers were just basically giving away tickets,” Katz said. “The prices were low.” Katz said he easily moved around to different seats Wednesday because there were many no-shows.

So I just wrap up a little I-O-U for dad telling him to meet me in front of the garden on X date and hopefully we can score some seats....

I can just see the pride in his face right now

11. Not even...
I mean, I would not pay it for the Bulls championships of the 1990's, much less the Knicks.
