In fact, it's 14 if your parents buy the booze and the pub landlord doesn't object. :)

7. Believe it or not, it's 15 in France. 18 to drink in bars.
Of course, like most things in France, nobody pays a blind bit of attention.

Denmark, on the other hand, has no legal minimum. Start drinking right after the doctor smacks your ass, if you want. :)

11. Actually the drinking age is 5.
When at home, for drinking with a meal (when the alcohol is bought by an adult) 16, for buying and drinking in pubs/bars 18.

I could do with a pint...but then I could always do with a pint. :D
