How to fix hard starting problems: Drive 60 miles a day
Edited on Thu Dec-13-07 08:06 PM by jmowreader
My car used to be really hard to start, because it would flood when it was hot. (This is a fuel injected car.) The coolant temperature sensor had gone bad, apparently, and decided that every start was a cold start--you try using the mixture for a "cold start" on a warm engine, and it will flood in an instant.

But now that I've been driving 60 miles a day to work and back, the sensor has fixed itself.
