Just got back from the office holiday lunch, and who did they have crooning carols on the sound system? None other than the blue-eyed birthday boy! Frank still swings, even after shuffling off this mortal coil.

Von Ryan's Express is a 1965 World War II film produced and directed by Mark Robson. It starred Frank Sinatra and Trevor Howard. It is based on the 1964 novel of the same name by David Westheimer.

He was a great actor along with his vocal talents. I highly recommend the flick to anyone who likes a good war/escape movie.

The plot sounds very familiar.
Frank was a good guy..(Besides being friends with Ron and Nancy)..I try to over look that part.
He was really awesome when in came to issues of racial and religious tolerance.
