3. It's probably a toss-up between Mojo Nixon
and the guy from my high school who climbed the giant bull in front of the Sirloin Stockade restaurant in Muskogee, Okla., and relieved himself. :yoiks:

13. Mojo played my crap local rock club back in '91. There was
this weird lil lumberjack looking dude that I'd never seen at the club before. 'Damn', I thought, 'this Mojo Nixon character really brings the freaks out!' It turns out that lil dude WAS Mojo! I'd only seen his picture on a flyer before and he was upside down.

He went on to put on the best show I ever saw at that club. (among hundreds)

14. If anyone was ever infamous, it's Duce from the Mentors!
Most outrageous RnR show I ever saw that's for sure. Actually, I have no idea how they got away with what they did. If I hadn't seen their show with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe it.

22. Are you a fellow Chicagoan? (based on Cubs logo)
I've been in Albuquerque for many years; don't miss Chi-town winters AT ALL ... But met him in Chicago, can't remember the name of the bar. Ironically, didn't seem them perform. Can't remember exact circumstance, but either he was too loaded to play, or the band didn't show up or something, but because of this, he was just sorta socializing instead, and me and my buddy that I was with ended up talking with him for several minutes and while I don't remember what we talked about, I remember him being a pretty nice guy.

6. I got a "congrats on your new baby" card from Ted Bundy...
Edited on Wed Dec-12-07 07:35 AM by ThinkBlue1966
Long, insane story... but my wasband's stepdad was on The Mile with him at Starke for a few years, and when our daughter was born, "Grandpa" must have told everyone at Starke about it. Shortly thereafter, we got a package in the mail from, and inside there were assorted letters from "Grandpa", as well as cards and even a crocheted "cap and booties" set in pink and tan that one of the Milers had sent. The card from Bundy creeped me out, though, even after the wasband explained that when he and his sis were kids, they often played in the waiting area and visiting room with the children who were accompanying visitors that Bundy received.
