Michael Vick gets two years (yay!)...but he could play again?
Michael Vick was sentenced Monday to 23 months in prison by a federal judge who found the fallen NFL star had not fully accepted responsibility for his conduct in a dogfighting operation.

Still...WTF?

The sentence on federal felony charges means Vick, suspended indefinitely by the NFL, won't play again until at least 2010. He still faces the league suspension.

Any chance the NFL will NOT suspend him?

He has also been indicted in Virginia on state dogfighting charges and faces lawsuits from several banks. The Falcons are awaiting an arbitration ruling in an attempt to recoup $20 million in bonus money paid to Vick.

So potentially he could go from Federal prison in 2009 into state prison for the (inevitable) Virginia conviction, right?
