How silly is this I am getting really excited because we are going to Cozumel next Sunday and we are

taking my daughters boyfriend with us. She is at university far from home and we don't see her much but to me the best thing is her boyfriend has never been anywhere outside Ontario and we get to take him with us and finally spend some time getting to know him. Ok I am an excited mother but what could be better.

I'm afraid when my kids are old enough to have portable boyfriends and girlfriends I'll be rolling my eyes at the prospect of taking them with us on a trip ...

But, then, who knows, maybe I won't be such a crank by then. :)

My daughter doesn't have a boyfriend, but rather a best male friend I view as a third son. I'd really enjoy having him join the family on a trip... and besides... it's Cozumel!

3. Glad I sound sane I don't feel it but I am happy to take someone who has never been anywhere

someplace else. It kind of gives me a giddy feeling if you can imagine that. I don't know why but I feel happy for the first time in a while.

doing something wonderful for the fellow. I hope you have a trip that not only lives up to, but exceeds your expectations.

5. Thank You I think that is what I am hoping for it is a good feeling to be able to give someone an

experience they may never have the chance for on their own. It matters not to me if this is a lifelong partner or just a good friend for my daughters choice in friends has been excellent and all would be welcome guests of our family. Did I tell you how excited I am.
