Well, at least it wasn't pneumonia this time
although it felt just as bad. The ER gave me some anti-biotics, an inhaler, and sent me home. No hospital stay.I hope I sleep better tonight instead of wheezing and coughing every five minutes.

6. It bites, doesn't it?
I was so sure it was pneumonia again, I packed my bags for a hospital stay. I was thrilled they let me go home. I am on a regiment of very strong anti-biotics that I only have to take for five days.

3. Hang in there, buddy. This too shall pass.
You're strong and I hope the anti-biotics kick in so you can get a good night's sleep.

11. Rest!
Drink lots of fluids and do whatever your doc tells you to.

Honey has been shown to be an effective cough remedy, so drink some nice hot tea with lemon and honey. And get yourself some Mucinex tablets - they're over the counter, and they won't interfere with whatever else you're taking. They're horse pills, but they made all the difference when I was going through this year's installment of the Annual Winter Crud. They help break up all that junk that's clogging your respiratory system. Someone on this board recommended them, and I am heartily grateful to him/her for it.

Hope you're back in the pink soon.
