2. We talked about that in the big menstruation thread in GD
a week ago. Not that web site in particular but the idea of belly casts.

They are cool though. It is a nice souvenir. Interesting sculpture if you hang it on a museum like wall.

3. I did to avoid threads about female issues.
I can't watch pad commercials on tv.

It is kind of cool, but just looks well strange or different.

4. Here's my question about it. Do you think it would smell
after a while?

I mean a cast once it is removed, reeks. So I was just wondering if a pregnant cast would as well?

Not that you leave it on for that long, but it will still collect skin cells and oils when you put it on.

5. You don't wear it long enough
I shouldn't think for it to smell. But I could be wrong.

and I would think that like any other artwork, you'd shellack it to preserve it.

I did wear a torso cast when I was 14 for about 8 months and yes, after a while it did not smell fresh, but didn't reek. Couldn't wait to get out of it. And yuck the dead skin that sloughed off me in the shower! x(

6. I remember the guck that came off after my wrist cast
was removed. When BabyMidlo broke her arm when she was four, she wanted to keep the danged thing. :scared:

Fortunately, I talked her into disposing of it with a trip to Toys R Us.
