Questions about Heroes TV show (SPOILERS through latest episode!)
Okay, just watched the latest episode last night (from Monday) and I have a couple of questions that have been plaguing me.

1. With the regenerative power of Clare's and Adam's blood, how long does that last? Does the "healed" person (Nathan, Mr Bennett, Sylar) now have the ability to heal like Clare and Adam, or is it just a one-time thing, to heal their injuries? Is Sylar now indestructible? (Which was the whole point of saving the cheerleader LAST season, so he WOULDN'T be indestructible).

2. Are we to start guessing about possible family ties between people with the same abilities? Is Clare descended from Adam (regeneration)? Is West related to Nathan (flying)? And if West is Nathan's kid, doesn't that make he and Clare brother and sister? (ew).

This is how my mind works. Insights?

2. They have not really shown if their blood makes you invincible yet.

If Nathan is alive next year, then that would be proof. I really am pissed that Sylar was not killed. Wish Hiro had taken Sylar to the gravesite with Adam.

7. OMG, really?
I love Sylar! The show doesn't work without him. He's the perfect villain!

...if only Maya had been permanently killed...

3. I can answer #1
I think

It's my understanding that Sylar is now indestructable (in storyline logic), having gotten an infusion of Clair's blood. Even if he didn't get it from the transfusion, his ability is to absorb others' abilities, so there you go.

I'm not sure yet about family ties, beyond what's been shown. I did not know that Claire's father was anything other than normal human until this episode. The company always tries to say he's just some company Joe who they gave Claire to. But why?

4. But for Sylar to get their power he has to eat their brain.
Or I assume that is what he does, since Molly's parents were missing the tops of their heads, and he cuts that nifty line around the top of their head as he kills them.

6. I think he just has to kill them. Remember, he bashed the shapeshifter's
head with a rock, and then immediately tried to use her power. He didn't eat her brain, that I remember. I think the head sawing is only for effect.

8. Actually, the shapeshifter's head was opened up too, after he busted her in the head.
He just did not get her power because of the virus. He tried repeatedly and that is when he discovered he was not in the US anymore.

10. Was the shapeshifter's head open?
I guess when they came back from commercial they showed it? They might have shown it and I was looking away. I knit while I watch TV. :)

I wonder who injected him with the virus...Far as I remember, he was slashed with Hiro's sword in the square where Peter was going nuclear, and then he woke up in the shack with the shapeshifter. So presumably she injected him?

11. The way I interpreted it...

Was Bob or one of his group from the company got Sylar into the Manhole, and I assume one of them did it.

12. I totally think Elle is going to end up killing her father, by the way.
I called that when we were watching the latest episode. She's unstable and she's going to prove his betrayal eventually. You heard it here first! :D

I love Kristin Bell in that role, she's so funny!

20. Which brings up another question: Does Bob have any powers?
Because if Elle comes after him, isn't he pretty much screwed?

21. He showed his power to Mohinder...
He can change anyting into gold. That is how the company gets it's funding.

5. Clare's real father is Nathan Petrelli.
We found that out last season. Noah Bennett is her adoptive father. And as far as I know, Noah doesn't have any special powers, unless the infusion of Clare's blood that Mohinder gave him makes him have the regenerative thing forever.

14. I thought about the West/Nathan/Clare thing when they first brought him in.
I think that's exactly what we're going to find out. I've said that all along and my son disagrees. But, he is a teenager and it's in his blood to disagree with me.
