1. Raining here today, too!
and supposedly through Saturday night.

I have to drive to Clovis (near Fresno) EARLY Sat. AM to take yet another set of CA required (fucking NCLB) tests to prove I can teach.
Was worried that it would be foggy. But since it'll be raining, that means no fog until the rain stops. :woohoo:

5. So glad to hear it!
I've got my fingers crossed for our friends in North Carolina...
99.5% of the state is experiencing severe drought or worse. http://www.drought.unl.edu/dm/DM_state.htm?NC,SE

They could really use a slow steady rain or a hefty snow that sinks into the ground gradually.

6. We had snow here and it screwed up the morning rush. Dang forecast said the snow
would hold off until after the morning rush so the highway crews did not get any salt down. Surprise, the snow came during the morning rush hour resulting in ice glazes here and there - enough to cause tie ups everywhere with the inevitible fender bender spin outs. Ah well.
