3. gonna be 10-12 inches, i;ll bet...

...weather wizards were way off in their earlier estimates.
freeways a nightmare; now people trying to make up their own route home through neighborhoods.
came at the wrong time, too.
it really really started to fall about 2-3 p.m. and it's still falling.
trying to decide whether to attempt to make it to a meeting.

the MnDOT traffic site has at least part of every freeway on "red."
which in plain English means "very f***d up."

it looks like that stretch may have gotten the worst of it.
I have to go drive it now and I;ll post when i get home....provided i get home.
it does seem to be tapering off but so many cars crawling along have left a nasty coating of ice....
