The new Futurama movie is fantastic.
They did a hell of a job.

It had a great mind-bending time travel plot with lots of neat paradoxes, resolved and otherwise, nearly every minor character gets a cameo, there was the amazing new character Zylex, Al Gore gets some really great lines, feature length running gags involving the idiot Fox executives who cancelled it in the first place, and if that doesn't sell it... they re-explore Seymour in a small, tasteful, and heartwarming way.

I figure if people buy enough copies, maybe they'll put it back on the air, baby! It'll make a great X-mas gift.

1 DVD for $19.99, what a bargain! I'LL TAKE EIGHT!

3. Just watched it last night.
I was never a huge fan of the show, although I did find it amusing, but the movie was really, really good.

4. Loved the movie...

One of the surprising things was that that I was somewhat surprised about the twist at the end. No spoilers dammit.

ON EDIT: Memorable quote, Al Gore: "Finally, I'm able to save the Earth with lasers rather than boring slideshows."

5. I loved the movie too, but (no spoilers)
I saw the twist early on. Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it; it was a very well thought-out adventure and should have been on television.

7. I will say that you have to really pay attention to that movie to understand all the paradoxes...
time travel movies will do that to you.

11. Clarification:
GOOD time travel movies will do that to you.

Regular ones go back in time, crack a few jokes, and we know all is well by the movie's end.

9. The holophoner doesn't make an appearance.
Unless it's somewhere in the background.

Fry plays a big part. So does his ass.
