Armie Hammer is Batman

Earlier today Megan Gale was confirmed as Wonder Woman, and now IESB has confirmed previous rumors that 21-year-old Armie Hammer has been cast as Batman in George Miller’s live-action Justice League of America. Hammer has the physical stats of the Dark Knight, standing 6 foot 5 inches tall. Hammer has had small roles in Veronica Mars and Desperate Housewives, and the films Flicka and Blackout. I’m sure most fans will be pissed that “Abercrombie Guy” is taking on the iconic comic book role. Justice League is sounding worse and worse every day now.

Megan Gale is Wonder Woman

Australian Who Magazine is reporting that 32-year-old Australian Supermodel Megan Gale has been cast as Wonder Woman in George Miller’s Justice League of America. AICN has confirmed the report with multiple sources, so this looks to be legit, and not just another one of the countless internet casting rumors.

Megan has only appeared in two films thus far: the 2001 Italian film Stregati dalla luna, and the 2005 Rob Cohen movie Stealth. She stands 5’10’’, has brown hair and green eyes. Gale seems to physically embody the Wonder Woman character much better than previously rumored actresses. Her age is also much older than most of the rumored cast, which some have jokingly referred to as the “Teen Titans”.

4. Is this the sequel to "Batman Begins"?
Because I was really hoping for a good Batman movie with Christian Bale.

If this is the sequel, it doesn't seem to fit any of the criteria.

6. Ledger is in the Batman sequel with Bale
The Justice League movie is a completely different thing.

7. Bale is doing "Dark Knight" with Ledger, and the JLA movie is a separate entity.
Bale is already saying that the "Dark Knight" movie will set up his appearance for the sequel, his third performance as Batman.

For some reason, someone decided it would be a good idea to break that continuity and do a Justice League of America flick with a different actor in the Batman role.

5. I'm still underwhelmed by Ledger's Joker. I know I'm in a minority on that.
Wonder Woman looks good, but that Batman looks a little soft and clean for Bats.

9. I liked Nicholson's Joker, but he lost me with the Prince crap.
Seriously, I know Prince was a hot commodity at the time of that film, and that getting his music was probably a major studio coup, but The Joker...for me, anyway...is supposed to be crazy and dangerous. When the Prince scene appeared, I just thought it was silly.

I say that as a life-long fan of the late Cesar Romero and the Adam West TV series, but for the movies, I'm not looking for comic relief.
