13. The transparent toaster is still in design
I, too, wanted to get one - and found this:

http://www.inventables.com/Product/ConceptStudio.asp?i=11&t=7

Although the glass does not currently get hot enough to toast bread, the vendor explained with some R&D this application may be possible. The concept was developed by the Inventables Concept Studio.

21. solution: attach all the various remotes to each side of a 2 x4 about
baseball bat size. You will never lose them again.

Seriously, I knew someone whose father did this in a fit of outrage over losing the damn remotes. He duct taped the tv, vcr, dvd and cable remotes to each of the 4 sides of a 2 x 4 about 2 feet long. Listening to his wife and daughter describe this was beyond hysterical.
