1. Y'know, I haven't read that book in a while... I should reread it.
I'm starting to forget bits and pieces.

Almost seems like the whole book was just some crazy dream... :P

2. It's a beautiful book...I have a nice hardcover edition from Barnes and Noble
that is very portable and includes 'Through the Looking Glass' as well.
My sigline reflects my favorite exhange from the book. :hi:

6. Yeah, my parents had a copy like that when I lived with them.

except that it wasn't protable... it was rather large.

And when an ex of mine dragged me onto a Disney themed text-based RPG online I played the Cheshire Cat. :) I just love being the only sane observer in a mad situation, plus the idea of disappearing, and leaving a toothy grin behind just appeals to my sense of humor. And on another similar text-based RPG she dragged me onto, I played an insane character who would often quote the cat. "Did you say pig or fig?"

The cat wasn't sane...he was just as crazy as everyone else! Read my signline!
:P
He just realized it better than everyone else.

17. I didn't say he was sane per se... just that his observations were sane.
Although I do believe that he very well may have been sane. His quirks were just a result of sanity in an insane world. And really, if everyone else in the world is insane, wouldn't that make the one sane being there the weird one? :)

21. Nah, I think he realized he was crazy, too.
Just crazy in a different way. His logic was that Alice was crazy because she was there...and by his logic at the very least, he's crazy as well.

28. Does thinking that you are most likely crazy actually mean that you are?
I don't know. When surrounded by that kind of crazyness, thinking you're sane might be the biggest sign of crazyness and thinking you're crazy might just mean that you're sane enough to really know what's going on.

Of course, that's just a 'might' there, not a definate. :)

12. Cats eat birds
and birds eat worms
and worms eat people
and people eat their words

Hence, cats eat words.

Bats eat blood, unless they are Jehovah's Witness Bats.

That's why Homer Simpson was crying and eating his accidentally cooked pet lobster. The writers had been reading the Walrus and the Carpenter!

My daddy was a lefty. My mom thought I would be lefty when I was really little.

Did you know that Firefox spell check thingy says "lefty" is a word, but "righty" is not? :o
