Okay who/what are the Imperial Stormtroopers?
There seems to some disagreement, at least on the Wikipedia page (which as deep as I was willing to research) about the origin of the Stormtroopers

Clone or not? Well that is one thing but clone of WHAT?

Are they humans? Humanoids? Robots? What?

1. According to the prequel trilogy, they started out as clone troopers.
However by the time of the original series it's implied that they are no longer clones, and the books lead the readers to believe that cloning is no longer legal. Mostly due to complications at the end of the Clone War where they find out that the quicker a clone is grown, the less mentally stable that clone is. So they end up with a few too many armed and crazy clones. (It's also implied that the emperor may have tried to clone a few jedi... who ended up being not only trained in the darkside, but completely effing nuts. The only one we ever actually encounter in the novels is Joruus C'boath in the Heir to the Empire trilogy. But in later books we find that another dark jedi made it all the way to Dagobah before Yoda defeated him.)
However, since Lucas himself hasn't really touched that, we don't know if he may just decide to ignore the dozens of novels that he okayed in the last 20 years or so and make something else up as he goes along.

God damn I'm a geek.

4. Clones of Jango Fett.

He's a bounty hunter who was apparently the ideal candidate. The Kaminoans used his DNA to make the first Stormtroopers, and in the prequel movies, they all look like him.

8. Oh okay now I get it-the circle is complete
I have never understood what the big deal with Bobba Fett was. I get it now he is part of one of the side lineages of the story.
