Who Else Is Tired Of Hearing About the Stacy Peterson Case
Before I get slammed, yes it is sad that something might have happened to her, but there are thousands of people who go missing every year, and dont get the same media attention....
:grr: :grr: :grr:
The Today show had another segment on that this morning............
and all are 'Exclusive'
William talks.....William tells a lie....Williams puts his pants on......:grr: :grr: :grr:

Enough already..................:hi:

I get all my news from NPR, and I haven't heard anything about it. No, seriously, I haven't.

5. Who's Stacey Peterson?
I guess my answer is "no", since I don't recognize the name. I've skipped over some headlines recently about a cop, a wife, and a blue barrel - is that the one?

6. I am, as in all of these sensational murder/missing persons stories, but...
I do admit watching that majorly nutty husband screw himself twice over is like watching a good train wreck.

10. Thats the one where tthe guy killed his pregnant wife right?
I didn't think there was anything left to talk about with that case.

Funny though....the serial killer in RI who killed and dismembered a young mother of 2 who was 5 months pregnant was not even a blip on the news screen.

Of course those women were poor and of a less desirable class of people..........

12. Ahhh okay
Laci-Stacy.....talk about confusing.

I sort of block all that crap out now. Not that I don't feel for the families. I just don't feel the need to absorb the same information on a case everyday for a year.

I'm perfectly content to not hear anything about it until the justice system has had a chance to finish their job.

I do understand there are people out there fascinated by the stuff so I can understand it being on. I change the channel though, as I am sure many people do to topics that I happen to enjoy. That's the beauty of having 200 cable channels.......

14. It seems to be more about her crazed husband
He's a sergeant in the police force, his ex-fiance tried to
file a complaint on him for being physically abusive. The
cops talked her out of it. His third wife was murdered and now
this one goes missing.

Cops protecting their own. Did the coroner cover up the
homicide on the third wife for the cop? This, I think,
is what makes this somewhat interesting.

15. Just learned this morning (I live an hour away--can't get away from it)
that his brother tried to commit suicide two days after she went missing. He thinks he unknowingly helped to move the body.

I usually don't pay attention to this kind of stuff, but my assistant is fascinated with it--largely because the media here are obsessed.

21. I heard that too
and thought about Drew besmirching her character on
the Today show suggesting that she was sneaking around
with another man.

It will be a good thing if it shines a light on
wrongdoings (at least) by the police that are protected
simply because they are police.

18. Femicide is no less serious than homicide.
In some regards, more serious, as there are still too many men think their wife's, girlfriend's, kids' lives are theirs to dispose of.

20. That's for sure
Some men DO think that they hold the right to womens' lives.
I didn't mean to diminish the deaths, but an interesting angle
is the BMOC cop who was being protected by his brethren. I want
him to fry.
