Anyone seen Neil Young's Heart of Gold?
I just watched it on TV for the first time. It was incredible. If you haven't seen it -- I highly recommend it. A very intimate acoustic experience.

1. We watched it a couple of weeks ago
It's mostly his Prairie Wind album, with some old stuff thrown in. I really liked it.

2. I just ordered it for my husband for Christmas
He hasn't seen it yet -- but is a fan -- and has seen Neil Young perform numerous times in the 70's.

I loved the story behind the song Heart of Gold.

3. If you like this you should have the Prairie Wind CD / DVD combo

The DVD is basically a "fly on the wall" documentary of Neil & the band in the studio, working their way through the Prairie Wind tracks.

6. Music fine. Thought Emmylou was a little subdued, Neil's wife a bit animated.
On the DVD, there is an excellent section on his guitars and amps that is well worth seeing.

8. I noticed that about Emmylou
I also noticed that she didn't open her mouth very wide when she was singing.

I liked the grange style fashions.
