G' Morning
It's cold, I have a headache, and I am considering giving my cat a "time out" (in the bathroom) if she doesn't stop meowing to go out.

1. Mornin'
I'm getting really hungry. I went to snack on a box of Sugar Smacks that I'd forgotten that I had for about 3 months. The cereal had molded into one, giant Sugar Smack. I'm trying to hold off until noon when I go to the pizza place to celebrate my cousin's birthday, but I don't think I'm going to make it.

2. Sounds like your diet isn't going well
I thought you were doing so well, too! Can you find some protein anywhere? Maybe have an egg? Good luck!

I'm headed to the kitchen to make some breakfast, as quietly as I can, myself. My husband is still sleeping... It's only 7:57 a.m. here.

3. My diet is going fine
I can't eat salad and tofu every day. I basically eat whatever I want, just without going over 2000 calories. I say ditch the low carb and low fat diets. They're too complicated and restrictive.

4. Yeah... I don't like complicated diets either
Are you ready for this? The only way I can consistently lose weight is by eating a normal breakfast (but I try to stay away from sugar), then a boiled egg and yogurt for lunch, a granola bar if I get hungry in the afternoon, and a light dinner. I have to give up all cookies, ice cream chips.... ALL junk food. I lost 14 lbs on that diet this year (Jan. - May). Of course, as fate would have it, my blood pressure went up by July! lol

5. Yeah, staying away from the junk food and pop is the way to go
I just drink water and occasionally I might have a candy bar or a small bag of chips, but that's it. I think that has helped me out tremendously.

6. Junk food is an addiction
If I have even one cookie, or buy ice cream once, I start into old habits. What I just can't get over is how I now have health problems I never had before. :-(

7. It happens to everyone sooner or later
I take four meds for my head that I'll be taking for the rest of my life.

9. Thanks for making me feel better
I still blame myself... for not taking better care of myself in my 30's. I was a pretty healthy person until I started being sedentary. An elderly woman, who was traveling alone well into her 80's, told me the secret to good health is to "never stop moving." I wish I'd listened to her.

Okay... I better go get some coffee in me! :hi:

8. Morning!
For once this past week, I don't have a headache and I'm up before lunch. This is progress. :D

12. Hi
Thanks. It's actually better now that I've had some coffee. I really didn't drink much last night... thankfully! Can't imagine how I'd feel if I'd had as much to drink as I was tempted to!

13. Pets and their "business" lol
My dog is sitting here chomping on his nether region like they are trying to escape! What a great sound to go with coffee.

Take an Advil :)

16. Mornin', KC!

It's going to be a busy day, if I so choose to get my ass in gear :P

Meanwhile, an ice pack off and on has helped me through the night.
Went to open up my ABs Lounger last night, and as it unfolded, it popped up and clipped me under the chin a good one...and I thought Somers' ThighMaster was dangerous! :eyes:

Note to self: Stand to the side when opening

What's on your list today?

Sorry... I know it isn't funny... but it's funny!

Hope your chin feels better soon!

I'm going to make some homemade lasagna today... that is my only goal! :D :hi:

19. It is funny
Just another silly mishap courtesy of moi, and moi alone...

Sort of like last weekend when I took the dog's .6 mg thyroid med in the early and sleepy AM instead of my daily dose of Allegra
