1. Chateau Morrisette "Blushing Dog"!
I haven't been interested in drinking anything for about 2 weeks now, thanks to this super-bug I've finally gotten over.

BTW, this is a table wine and it's been half finished and sitting in the refrigerator for about a month and a half. Tasty, a bit sweet, and so I don't get too wasted, I've taken 2 Sudafed.

I should start a thread on the super-bug! Oi!

(clink!)

:hi:

7. Taking Sudafed keeps you from getting wasted?
Never heard that one before.

17. No, magic sudafed keeps me from getting a headache!
You see, I can't seem to drink more than a couple of glasses without getting engorged bloodflow to my head (my face fllushes, too), particularly when my headcold was so bad this last week.

I guess I'm one of those people who should listen to their body, but when I want to have more than a few glasses, I safeguard the vascular effect I get from drinking wine by taking a vaso-constricter drug.

Strange, but true!

4. Really?
I don't like the taste of grapefruit anything... never have! Don't know why, either. It's a mystery!

10. Milk is good for bones...
..my father drank at least 4 glasses every single day of his life. Recently, at 76 years of age, he fell from an 8 ft. ladder...flat onto his back...onto concrete! Didn't break a single bone. I attribute it to all that milk! lol

14. I'm trying it for the first time tonight -- little disapointed, I must admit
I used to really like Blue Moon (it's actually the first beer I ever really enjoyed), but I haven't had it much in the last year or so. Saw the Winter Brew in the store and thought I'd give it a shot.

I'll probably like it a little better as the evening wears on--i'd been eating M&Ms and Doritos, so my taste buds might just be confused right now

13. Water. Had a beer with dinner a few hours ago.
A big glass of water. In one of those cups you get when you order a large soda at the movies these days. Enormous.

The beer was a Yuengling Lager. Dinner was prime rib w/ wild rice. And a cookie. And some chips.

24. Water. I know, I'm a real party animal.
I've given up the beer, at least temporarily and maybe for good. I found it was hindering my weight loss regimine and on the weekends it was making me unproductive to say the least. So adios brewskies. Maybe we will meet again some time later on down the line.
