I wish most of my friends were 10-15 years younger than they are...
So they could come save me from the people at my high school. I mean, nobody's particularly mean to me (for once), I just don't find many people who I can connect with at all. And even if I want to connect, I don't seem to be particularly well-liked...

Seriously, most of my friends are in their 20's or 30's. I really have a hard time making friends my own age.

1. Those who have a tough time in high school
tend to do well in college socially. Pick your college well, say for instance, if your high school is big and jock-oriented, pick a college that is small where sports isn't considered important. That was my main criteria for a college, as I was miserable in high school. That was 30 years ago. Believe me, it does get better.

2. I had the exact same problems as a kid too

(For reference, I graduated high school in 1991)
