Oh dear god, tomorrow is drive all over creation day.
Nothing like having family spread over the state, but close enough together that they all expect you to at least 'make an appearance'. Especially now that we have the little one that everyone just 'has to see'.
And he loves riding in the car so much. And I just love driving too! :sarcasm:

Honestly, I think I'd rather go to work.

1. I'm taking the train to NY for the parade
and using the subway when I get there.

2. I'd love to take the train to Hebron Maine
but it stopped running about 100 years ago.

4. You are far braver than I am.
I will never, ever willingly go near a big crowd here in NYC. That's suicide for someone on crutches.

I hope you have a good time, and if you have a camera I hope you get some great pictures.

8. Thanks Thom, I'm taking the two youngest with me.
By the end of the day they'll know why I moved out of NYC. :D

5. If I drove a flying car, my wife's handprints would become permanent in the jesus handle.
Hell, she reaches for it when I break 25mph!

6. If they want to see the little one,
then THEY should schlep their asses to your place. It would be even better if they brought food. Just a suggestion.

7. I'd never be able to get them to leave though.
That would be even worse.

:scared:

9. PM me your cell number
I'll yell in some panicked techno-gibberish at the pre-planned time. Then you can leave :)

10. No one will believe my client is 'down' on thanksgiving.

No, my one hope is that the kiddo get 'testy', with me defining testy as looking like he might, at some point get upset, and announcing 'Sorry, we've got to go!'

Thanks for the idea though!!
:D
