28. I made a Key Lime pie for my Thanksgiving party at work today.
I know it wasn't traditional but it was the first thing everybody finished :D.

2. I bought a pumpkin pie and
a red raspberry pie.

I'm not a big dessert eater, so I go what the others would eat.

12. Mincemeat is good, - but I think if more for Christmas.
Though, any pie for which one is thankful would technically be appropriate for Thanksgiving, so more power to ya!

That can be a good one, it's true. But so often it's just not done right. I'm sure your grandma's was teh bomb.

20. LOL, Mama couldn't cook to save her life
But man could she bake. Thanksgiving and Christmas was when she went to town. She always made sweet potato pie and coconut custard pie. Our house would be covered in them.

We sent entire pies home with people. You can take the old girl out of the South, but you can't take the South out of the old girl.

24. My sister's boyfriend loves cherry pie, so she makes one for him, and
he eats the whole damn thing the same night. Sometimes if we're extremely lucky there might be one slice left. I think key lime pie makes a good contrast with all the other Thanksgiving foods.

27. It was Fun, Sir
There were always cardinals swooping about the tree in the summer-time. A very, very old couple lived there, and their back-yard was out of bounds for hide and seek and such.
