Just had a meeting with a client at her house. We've spoken on the phone a few times, but today was the first time I was meeting her.

Went to her house, and she let me in. My back was to the living room, as I was talking to her. We started moving toward the living room, and I stepped back, and DAMNED NEAR FELL ON MY ASS! She didn't mention she had a sunken living room, and I didn't turn around before stepping into the room.

I stumbled around trying to catch my balance, which I finally did. I didn't fall, but came close. :blush:

I did that at a friend's house once, and she just stood there and watched me stumble...

She said she usually DOES tell people before they come over the first time about the sunken living room, but forgot this time.
