Where can I get crystallized ginger?

I have a recipe for a sweet potato casserole and it calls for crystallized ginger.

Will my regular grocery store have this? In what section should I look?

and if I can't find it, should I just use dried ginger?

The regular grocery sometimes has it in with the produce, but sometimes it's with the nuts.

a poster above said it is sometimes called Candied ginger and I'm pretty sure I'm seen that there.

edit- that "hit an asian grocer" doesn't sound good, does it?

5. you cant substitute with dried ginger, if you cant find any here is a recipe

7. Whole Foods usually stocks it.

At least my local one always seems to have a huge supply.

in the spice section

I love crysallized ginger... I know this is weird, but I think it makes a really great snack food.
