1. I haven't had a Five Guys burger, but I have had In-N-Out, therefore....
Five Guys wins hands down.

Sorry, In-N-Out just don't do it for me.

4. damn the in-n-out in Pacific Beach
I asked for 5 meat 3 cheese, animal style, protein style, no fries, and a drink.
Instead I got 4 meat 3 cheese plus fries :(

6. Damm their eyes!
I've never ordered anything from the Secret Menu, but I think it's way cool.

7. AZ? I don't know. I live in the DC metro area, all I know is that they're here.
In-N-Out is my fave. I miss it.

8. Was disappointed with Five Guys
Edited on Wed Nov-21-07 09:57 AM by PeterU
I went to the Five Guys in South Florida and I tried their much heralded fries, with cajun seasoning. They gave me a lot of fries--a lot--but I wasn't that impressed. Tasted like I was chewing on a baked potato--they didn't seem quite "done" to me. The burger itself wasn't bad--perhaps better than your average fast food burger, but I've had better burgers myself at different places. (Lindburgers in South Florida comes to mind first and foremost.)

I've never been to an In and Out, so I can't say for myself whether I like them or not.

As fast food fries go, I love the seasoned fries at Checker's and at Arby's. Hardees also used to have great seasoned, curly fries.

But like I said, you want one of the best burgers there are, and you are in South Florida for some reason or another, you must go to Lindburgers.
