I am heading to Curacao this friday for a much needed week of relaxation and sun. I am curious if any DU'ers have been to the island of Curacao and, if so, what are the things I definitely need to do/see and what should I avoid? I know that the island is very liberal (former colony of the Netherlands) and apparently it very gay friendly. It is only about 40 miles off the coast of Venezula - is travel to the mainland possible?
I am looking forward to taking lots of pictures and I can definitely share pics of the wildlife and blue seas when I return.
