BoyMidlo broke a bracket on his braces so I had to get him into the orthodontist. There was a woman there who was going on and on about what a 'trooper little James is about his braces'. I wanted to stab her with my keys. She kept it up so much that I thought 'little James' must surely still be in diapers, but when 'little James' came out he was at least 6'0 tall.

And, then on the way home, there was this amazing asshat teenager in the MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING ROAD with a skateboard and when I beeped at him, he flipped me off.

Swear to God, if I hadn't been in a hurry because I have to teach two classes, I would have backed up and run the little fucker over.

Not really. Well, maybe.

Thankfully you did not have to add any asshats driving in the first "snow" of the season. I was passed by three SUVs driving like complete jerks this morning. I saw two of them in ditches a little ways up the highway :P

my kids are on a roll too. I swear they just cleaned out the kitchen :eyes: well, maybe not everything, but damn, what is up with their appetites these days. I told my 8 year old I think she has worms the way she has been eating lately. Is it boredom, hormones, WHAT? I can't seem to keep them out of the kitchen. I've stocked the fridge with carrots, apples, and all kinds of "good stuff" and I don't buy chips, or junk, so what is going on...????

I hate it when school's out. It's gotta be boredom.

I've run across that same thing with skateboarders. For a while I always thought, "Well, he knows what he's doing...", then it finally occurred to me that "This is a TWELVE-YEAR-OLD BOY ON A SKATEBOARD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GODDAM STREET! What the hell makes you think he knows what he's doing?????????" :nuke:
