Steve Sabol said that on the road the Cowboys always had large group of fans in the stands, so he came up with the idea of calling them "America's Team" The Cowboys never liked the name or embraced it. Don't expect it to make any difference with the haters but those are the facts

I don't know why exactly. It's completely irrational. But I live in Texas and get tired of them being shoved in my face all the time. My team (Minnesota) generally sucks most of the time, so maybe it is jealousy. But I root for whomever is playing Dallas, just for spite anyway.

But ever since Tony Romo started playing they've been my favorite NFC team. My sister went to Eastern Illinois and I grew up about 30 minutes from the campus, so having an alum be an NFL star is pretty damn cool. I hope Romo continues kicking ass and ends up in Canton.
