The lake in the fog.
I walked the doggies early this morning, intending to catch the Canada geese in action. I didn't get a picture of an entire flotilla taking to the air as I'd hoped, but I did get this nice shot:




At dawn, fog had rolled in, turning the little island absolutely magical:

6. Me, too!
That end of the lake is pretty damned ugly now, and will be until the construction/dredging is done and some of the water returned, but I do love the sharp-focus bits against the soft background.

7. That last photo shows that the water level is down.
Only some of that is due to the drought, though.
